BOOK TOUR & SIGNED BOOK GIVEAWAY - Letters From Your Future by Brett L Bowden

 ></a></div>
<div style=Our lives are changing.  Indeed they are always changing that is because we are always growing and in this respect the words growth and change are synonymous.  However something is happening now in which we are changing in a different way, another way.  We are changing energetically.  The planet we live on is changing energetically. And because of these energetic shifts new avenues of growth and awareness are now being given to us.

This book will help you to understand what is happening as we make our way through this energetic growth period.  Growth is not always easy and sometimes it comes in the form of illuminating circumstances and sometimes it comes in the form of tragic events that touch our lives.  Both offer benefits to the soul for expansion.

Shortly after a life changing event, without provocation I would wake up between 2 - 4 am with spiritual whispers in my mind. The whispered messages were about life, love, God, Spirit and Humanity. These were deep profound thoughts and they were there waiting for me. The thoughts were like the lyrics to a song that kept playing in my mind. Thoughts such as, “Fear is the opposite of love. Fear will keep you from all that you desire to do and be while here on earth. Love however, will enable you to surpass your highest expectations.”

The Messengers that whispered into my consciousness instructed me to write down the words they would give me and make them into a book. This is the book that is before you now. These are instructional letters for Humanity. The Letters explain why certain events happen in our lives and on our planet. The book goes on to explain why some are here on earth at this time, but some of our loved ones may have moved on and are now gone. The Letters describe how life really works from their perspective in the spiritual realm and how one can use these instructions to rebuild their lives and their planet. The book talks of a unending love from our Creator and a unparalleled unity created out of love for one another. The Letters beautifully describe how to create our Heaven on Earth.

"What a jewel of light this book is. I highly recommend this book for those of you searching within your own journey for answers about why we go through some of the more difficult times in our lives. This book takes you by the hand and walks with you through your spiritual trials. By the end, you can see how far you've come and that is the mark of a good book."- Barnes and Noble

"This is one of the best book I read on spiritually, in this time of changes of consciousness, it is the perfect guide to our higher selves. - Amazon.com

Fields of Elysium by AB Whelan plus $50 Amazon/Paypal Give Away

Fields of Elysium by A.B. Whelan

How can love mend a heart full of hate?

Small town girl, Molly Bennett, moves to Los Angeles where she becomes an outsider while attending Beverly Hills High School. It seems life cannot be any more dreadful. Then one day after school, something magical happens. On a secluded hike in the Hollywood Hills, Molly chases her disobedient mutt and only friend into a hidden cavern. She stumbles upon a strange glimmering gateway that transports her to Arkana, a planet that is the cradle of an advanced human race. There, teenagers navigate amazing flying vehicles, compete in perilous games for glory, and possess supernatural powers. While Molly tries to wrap her mind around this unbelievable discovery, she meets the alluring and mysterious Victor Sorren. He is a Sentinel Apprentice, whose hatred toward people from Earth is beyond understanding. Yet every time Victor unpredictably saves Molly's life, his heart draws closer to hers, no matter how much he tries to fight against it. It further complicates things that their growing friendship is strictly forbidden. Earth people are prohibited in Arkana, yet Molly continues to cross through the portal to Arkana to see Victor. Torn between their double lives, they go down a dangerous path, from where there is no return and multiple endings.

Fields of Elysium is a suspenseful, romantic tale full of forbidden secrets, unimaginable danger, deception, and the never-ending fight for true love.

Discovery of 50 previously unseen poems by Rudyard Kipling

Rudyard Kipling fans will be delighted to hear that a collection of his poems, thought to be lost, will be published for the first time.

The 50 previously unseen poems were discovered by the American scholar and emeritus professor of English at the University of California, Thomas Pinney. They were found in more than one place, with poems appearing in family papers and even during renovations at a Manhattan house.

The collection contains poems that date back to the First World War, with many focusing on the plight of the British soldier. Kipling initially supported the conflict, before the death of his son at the Battle of Loos in 1915.

One poem, titled The Press is a humorous, sardonic complaint about media intrusion. In it, a voice questions tirelessly: What's your last religion? / Have you got a creed? / Do you dress in Jaeger-wool / Sackcloth, silk or tweed? It is a poem perhaps pertinent for the present day.

Kipling's most famous work includes the poem If, which is often voted as the nation's favourite poem and short stories such as The Jungle Book, The Just So Stories and Kim.

The poem If has divided critics, with George Orwell describing it as a “good bad poem”. Yet the poem can be found in some unusual places. The inspiring lines, If you can meet with Triumph and Disaser / And treat those two impostors just the same, stand above the players’ entrance to the Centre Court at Wimbledon.

Yet despite being one of the nation’s most popular poets, Kipling’s reputation has suffered at times due to his association with British imperialism.

“Kipling has long been neglected by scholars probably for political reasons,” Pinney told the Guardian. “His texts have never properly been studied but things are starting to change. It's a tremendously exciting time for scholars and for fans of Kipling.”

The 50 poems will be published alongside more than 1,300 of Kipling’s other poems in a three-volume Cambridge University Press edition, priced at £200 and out on 7 March.

Bobby Moore The Master by Norman Giller helping Cancer Research

bob

In association with the Bobby Moore Fund, Norman Giller has written an in-depth study of the life and times of arguably England's greatest ever defender. The book is being published to mark the 20th anniversary of Bobby's passing and the setting up of the fund.

It is not only a book about Bobby but captures the golden era of English football in which he was the golden hero. For the first time, every one of the 108 England matches in which he played are summarised with Bobby's exclusive comments on each of them.

Any profits from the sales of the book will go to the Bobby Moore Fund to help raise cancer research money.

"There have been previous books focusing on Bobby, but none will match the intimacy and information of Bobby Moore: The Master. I was close to him at the summertime peak of his career in my role as a Fleet Street writer throughout Bobby’s climb to football’s mountain top as winning 1966 World Cup captain."

"And I had the good fortune to be right in on the start of the Bobby Moore story. I was sports editor of the local West Ham paper when Bobby was a 16-year-old groundstaff boy, and featured him in a series called The Apprentice before anybody had heard of him (and long before the Alan Sugar programme!). We remained life-long friends."

"I have another (harrowing) link with Bobby. I have (so far) survived after undergoing a 2007 tumour-removing bowel cancer operation, benefitting from the research financed by proceeds from the phenomenal Bobby Moore Fund. Now I want to put something back, and ask you to help me support a great cause."

One revelation in the book is of how Bobby had a cancerous testicle surgically removed after he had led West Ham to the FA Cup in 1964. It was hushed up at the time. Can you imagine how much bigger a hero he would have been if the public had known the crisis he had been through before collecting the World Cup?

The Bobby Moore Fund was launched in 1993 by his widow, Stephanie, following his death from bowel cancer, and the book is being published to mark the 20 year anniversary of Bobby’s passing (and the Fund’s birth) in February 2013. Any profits from the book will go to the Fund.

You can order the book NOW by making a payment of £15 HERE, plus postage and packaging. The book will be delivered to you ASAP.

"This is my 94th book, 20 of them in collaboration with Jimmy Greaves, who was Bobby’s best mate and is among an army of former footballers and celebrities contributing to the book. I promise it's a good read and you will feel good helping a good cause :-) Yes, it's all good, good, good, just like Bobby."

BOOK TOUR & SIGNED BOOK TIVEAWAY - Swallowtail by Sheri Meshal

Chicago wife, mother and finance executive Claire Cummings, arrives at work one morning to discover her friend Julia has embezzled millions and vanished. Blindsided and devastated by the betrayal, she’s sent home pending further investigation. Claire’s bizarre death the following day sends everyone reeling, guessing and looking for her in all the wrong places. In no time she's addicted to an enchanting menagerie of tricks and techniques for getting the living's attention, but most people are harder to reach than she'd ever dreamed and even harder to set free.

She was still a mother, a wife, a daughter and a friend... she'd move heaven and earth to keep it that way.

Sheri Meshal’s Swallowtail is a haunting story about life, love, loss and just how far we’ll go to control it all.

This debut from a thought-provoking new voice in fiction begs the question… what would you do if all the rules changed, and you were suddenly bestowed powers beyond your greatest imagination?

"A captivating novel about love, redemption and the supernatural."  - Kirkus Review

"Sheri Meshal brought to her debut novel the sensibility of a writer who has
obviously loved, and lost loved ones.  Yet, her take is by no means depressive or defeatist.
On the contrary, Swallowtail screams hope, love and the possibility of us all to better ourselves;
by simply opening our hearts and minds to love, and compassion." - Amazon.com

"Swallowtail will take you on a journey through the soul. A novel full of twists that
both wrench the heart and fill it with joy."  - Goodreads

Sheri Meshal spent most of her childhood on an old farm in Iowa. She is an author by day and chauffeur by night... for a tad bit longer. Swallowtail took over six years to write and was inspired by bizarre events which occurred shortly after her father's passing in 1998. Best friends, they'd engaged in countless conversations regarding the possibility of life after death and enjoyed sharing books on the subject years before he was diagnosed with lung cancer. After a myriad of unexplainable events, Sheri realized had she died first, she would've done everything in her power to get her father's attention and show him all the things she could do.

Her father had informed her that she was a writer long before she could begin to accept the possibility. In her heart, she knew he should've been the writer, and if she did possess any talent for it, it was due to his DNA. She began writing for both of them and often wondered if he helped her, as crucial research repeatedly found its way to her by the strangest means. When she met medium Jonathan Louis, he desperately tried to avoid a cliche topic. Exasperated, he finally gave in saying, "I don't want to say this. Whenever I do, the room goes crazy. Sometimes it just is what it is and nothing more, but what does it mean when I say the word butterfly to you?" Overcome with emotion, she confessed she'd written a novel titled Swallowtail about a dead woman communicating with her friends and family. He answered softly with a smile, "He helps you."

A minimalist, Sheri currently lives in Chicago sans furniture with her dog, Kylee and her roommate and fellow writer, Mack Oliver. When she isn't writing, she's traveling and spending time with her nieces and nephews every chance she gets.

More importantly, how does he live in her home unseen and unheard?

The Middle Aisle (Lancaster House)The Middle Aisle
by Taylor Dean
Paperback, 356 pages
Published November 26th 2012 by Create Space

Premise:

Zoe Grayson is back in Lancaster House, ordered to bed rest for the duration of her unexpected pregnancy. Doctor Wade Channing, her overzealous psychiatrist, is living in Lancaster House, taking care of her, waiting on her, and tending to her every need. It seems to be the perfect arrangement.

There’s just one catch.

She has to tell him her story—everything that has happened in her life since the moment she escaped from Serenity Hills. It’s been quite an adventure to include renovating another home and a walk down the middle aisle.

But, that’s all over now. Nothing is real. It never was.

How did she end up in this miserable situation?

I Scared Myself!
*To read an excerpt which contains a description of Lancaster House, drop back down this secret passageway that leads to yesterday’s post at The Reading Diaries . . .
Lancaster House is not really a scary book. I’m a total wimp when it comes to scary movies, horror movies, or books of the same nature.  In the end, Lancaster House is a romance.
However . . .
The beginning is a little scary. At least I (the wimp) thought it was. Seriously. While writing the beginning of Lancaster House I found myself looking over my shoulder more times than I care to admit! I was sure Andre was going to appear to me any minute. A good friend of mine read the book long before it was published. She teaches an early morning youth religious class at church. As the teacher, she was always the first to arrive at the dark church at oh-dark-thirty. After reading Lancaster House, she told me she had a hard time entering the church by herself, sure that a ghost was about to appear to her any minute!
I know exactly how she felt. I felt the same as I wrote it.  If I put myself in Zoe’s place, I know I’d leave Lancaster House screaming with fright! It’s always fun to write about a character that is much braver than yourself.  Since I wrote the book from beginning to end, without skipping ahead, I didn’t really know Andre myself as of yet. I mean, his essence was in my mind, and I knew he was good, but he wasn’t created on paper as of yet. That made the beginning scarier than it should have been, as if I was experiencing it right along with Zoe, as if the story was unfolding before my very eyes. Now I read it and I’m fine, of course! I’m in love with him as much as Zoe and he can haunt me anytime. I’m sure you’ll feel the same as you read it!

*To read a review of Lancaster House, pull up a chair over at Living the Goddess Life . . . and get ready to watch her prepare a meal straight out of the book...
